Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Mr Ashok Ghelot, has granted an extension for the last date of verification and stamping of portable weights, measures and Machines till 31 Dec 2021. The late verification penalty and the penalty on the users of unverified and unstamped weights, measures and machines, will also be waivered till 31 Dec 2021.

A plea was made by the users, to the department when a lot was not able to pay the fee for the verification and stamping because of the due penalties upon them. This made them use the unverified and unstamped weights, measures and machines.
