Recently a raid conducted by the consumer affairs department at Beawar Pindwara Four-Lane and Tool Booth in Peeplad. This raid was the consequence of a dreadful accident that happened prior because of overloading. The department found that a password on the toll booth gave them the provision of generating a slip with a faulty weight. In the case of heavy vehicles, this could cause a difference of 2-3 tons.  These tolls are sealed and prohibited from weighing until the next notice comes.

The team of legal metrology officers from Jaipur arrived at 6 p.m and examined the booths and machines of the tolls in Raipur till 11.30 p.m. Upon finding faulty equipment, the officers sealed the tolls as well as the lines. The officers have shut 14 out of 16 lines in Peeplad. The weighing machine on a toll in Raipur, set up by Vishwakarma company, was also seized. Upon inspecting, officers also found equipment whose verification number on the plate did not match the verification number on the certificate, and action was taken according to Legal Metrology Act,2009.
