What is calibration for?
Whether in the chemical, pharmaceutical, trade, laboratories, among other sectors, the calibration of the scales is essential to obtain accurate and completely reliable results. This is the only way to ensure that your business has no losses resulting from incorrect weighing and at the same time ensures good relations with your customers.
How is the calibration done?
It is a comparison between the results obtained when weighing an instrument – standard mass – and the reference value of that standard mass.
For example, if we place a standard weight of 10 kg, the indicated value should be this. The difference between the 10 kg and the weighing result is called an indication error.
The specialized entity for carrying out the calibration then issues a certificate that proves that the balance complies with the weighing standards.
If it does not meet the necessary requirements, the balance must be properly repaired and adjusted by the authorized organization.
Not giving the real importance to calibration is a risk factor for your company, because, in addition to fines, it affects the production, transparency and quality of results.
Weighing systems are designed to be as safe as possible, cooperating with the customer in order to satisfy their real needs. With its own technology, the most advanced means and a strong team which allows the manufacture of robust and reliable scales for weighing loads with maximum efficiency and safety.
