On 30th March 2021, Mr Abhishek Bhagotia, Chief Commissioner, State-Tax, Rajasthan amended the department’s notification No. F.17(131) ACCT/GST/2017/3743 according to which the E-Way Bill limit increased from रु 50,000 to रु 1,00,000. It means that the E-Way Bill for goods not exceeding an amount of रु 1,00,000 need not be produced.

However, this is only applicable to any goods traded within Rajasthan except tobacco and its products. The amendment will come into action from 1st April 2021.
