Kanta King reaches out to daily wage earners in the lockdown

We are proud to share that certain stakeholders in the weighing industry are also engaged in societal service in these uncertain times.

Mr. Mohit Chadha, MD & Founder of Kanta King  is overseeing one such effort. KANTA KING is an enterprise of the legendary Ram Dharam Kanta Group who have been the pioneers in the Public Weigh Bridge Industry in North India for close to seven decades.

KARTAVYA (Our Karma) is an initiative by the M3M Foundation of which Mr. Mohit Chadha is the Managing Trustee to provide food and nutritional support to daily wage earners in times of need. The idea was promulgated in Gurgaon by corporates and organizations that shared this empathetic vision. Many like-minded and kind-hearted individuals have joined hands with them and stepped forward to positively impact and reach out to 100000 people in Haryana. To feed 25000 families is their target during the first phase of KARTAVYA. Aide et Action (a French NGO) is the support partner in this humanitarian effort and has shouldered the responsibility and has pledged to take this initiative forward to a pan Indian and international level. The President of Aide et Action, International Aïcha Bah Diallo who was earlier Director for Basic Education and Assistant Director General for Education in UNESCO has also appreciated the efforts.

Any corporate or individual or organization can support any number of families in need by donating an amount that will be utilized to provide them with basic food requirements.
