Utilizing a Sartorius analytical balance as a sample scale and Minebea digital weight indicator tied to a bulk base we pieced together a snazzy little setup for highly accurate counts of even the smallest of pieces.  This system was put together for a customer counting very small electrical contacts.  As pictured the Minebea indicator is tied to a printer for record keeping but we also setup a sleek way to log the data electronically.  Utilizing WinWedge® and the RS232 output from the indicator a PC converts the serial data into keystrokes and populates an Excel spreadsheet.  If you are interested is a custom counting system like this Koehler Scale can help you!
