The limits of India’s consumer protection
The RBI’s Integrated Ombudsman Scheme received over 13.3 lakh consumer complaints in FY 2024-2025, a 13.5% increase from the previous year. These complaints were mainly related to digital banking, credit card, and cyber-fraud cases.
