Focus on product quality: the new checkweigher Essentus® Advanced L

The successor to the checkweigher Econus® combines cost-effective in-line weight control with the excellent Blue HMI user interface.

The new checkweigher Essentus® Advanced L combines the proven reliability of the checkweigher Econus® – of which more than 2,000 are installed worldwide – with modern features for operation, analysis and Connectivity. By performing automatic weight checks during the ongoing production process, the system helps manufacturers to ensure product quality, optimise product usage and make production processes more efficient. The Essentus® Advanced L is aimed at manufacturers who wish to automate their quality control or modernise existing systems.

Modern checkweighing technology for efficient production processes

With weighing ranges of up to 12 kg, automatic learning functions and advanced communication capabilities, the Essentus® Advanced L is suitable for numerous applications in the food, pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries. Its compact design also facilitates integration into existing production lines.

A key feature of the Essentus® Advanced L is Minebea Intec’s Blue HMI. The user interface enables consistent operating logic across different weighing and inspection solutions, thereby reducing the time needed for staff training. The Blue HMI was awarded the Red Dot Award in the Interface & User Experience Design Category for its successful combination of functionality, innovation and user-friendliness.

Transparency, Connectivity and cyber security

Production statistics, PDF reports and user management functions support the documentation of quality processes. The browser-based Remote View function also allows production data to be viewed from any location.

Interfaces such as Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet and serial connections enable seamless integration into existing production lines. At the same time, the Blue HMI user interface supports modern cyber security requirements and helps companies meet increasing regulatory demands.

Advanced digital inputs and outputs, as well as optional functions for monitoring compressed air and ejection systems, further enhance process reliability.

Availability

The Essentus® Advanced L, as the latest addition to our checkweigher range alongside the established Essentus® Efficiency and Essentus® Performance solutions, is initially available in Asia, India, the Middle East and Africa.
