Minebea Intec, a leading global manufacturer of industrial weighing and inspection technologies headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, and Baykon Endustriyel Kontrol Sistemleri A.S., the market leader for industrial weighing in Türkiye, have signed a strategic partnership. The cooperation combines Minebea Intec’s expertise in inspection technology – especially X-ray and metal detection systems – with Baykon’s strong market access in weighing, creating a powerful alliance to further strengthen customer proximity in Türkiye.

Turkey is one of the most industrialized markets in the world, with high demands on product quality and consumer protection. Baykon brings decades of expertise, a nationwide service network and strong market access across key industries such as Food, Pharmaceutical and Chemicals. This partnership allows Minebea Intec to combine its global innovation strength with local know-how and customer support.
"We see enormous potential in Turkey and beyond. The market is highly developed, and requirements for quality and consumer protection are continuously increasing," says Willy-Sebastian Metzger, Director Product Management, MarCom & MEA Region at Minebea Intec. "Working with strong local partners like Baykon is part of our global strategy: to be close to customers and provide first-class service worldwide."
Greater customer proximity and faster service

"The cooperation between Minebea Intec, an experienced and powerful company in the field of product inspection, and Baykon, the leading supplier in the Turkish weighing sector, will bring significant benefits to both companies and the Turkish industry," emphasises Emin Yümin Sözer, Board Member and share holder of Baykon.
