While giving concurrence to different State Governments on their Enforcement Rules under Section 53(1) of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, it is observed that few States have proposed/ omitted some provisions in their State Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules to reduce compliance burden to the Industries.
